Who is Fairies and Feathers?
Fairies and Feathers is owned and operated in Lafayette, California by Nicole Jarotzky.
All of the products are Nicole’s own original creations and are hand made by her exclusively. Nicole is a self-taught artist with an MBA and a prior career in luxury goods marketing. She was born and raised in the SF Bay Area, and lived in Paris, France for over 10 years.
After living abroad, she returned to San Francisco, where she left the corporate world to pursue a career in design and art. She has been focusing her interests and talents on designing original children’s fashions and accessories for the past several years, and she is enjoying the successful mix of the creative process and running a small business.
Nicole is proud to announce the opening of her first boutique, WHIMSY, located next to Trader Joe’s in Lafayette, CA.
WHIMSY carries a wide range of beautiful clothing lines, gifts, and accessories for babies, children, and tweens, and features a large selection of Fairies and Feathers dresses and accessories.
In addition to running a business, Nicole is a full time mother to three young children, one of whom is autistic. Nicole is active in the local special needs community and is dedicated to leveraging her business to contribute to the autism cause whenever possible.
Where do I find Fairies and Feathers?
Fairies and Feathers can be found at on weekends between April and November at select San Francisco Bay Area art and wine festivals.
In addition, Fairies and Feathers can now be found at the fantastic new store, WHIMSY, next to Trader Joe’s in Lafayette, CA.
Fairies and Feathers participates year round in additional events throughout California professional and promotional events, swim meets, birthday parties, fundraisers, private parties, and school events.
